Featuring a bold black-and-white checkerboard design, natural leather, and intricate hand-tooled floral details, this Western barrel racing saddle was made for the cowgirl who appreciates the classics but isn’t afraid to make a statement.
The checkerboard pattern carries across the cantle and seat area, creating a striking contrast against the natural leather. Detailed floral tooling, decorative borders, and coordinating black accents bring the entire design together. It’s the perfect mix of retro Western style and traditional craftsmanship. The kind of saddle that looks just as good sitting in your tack room as it does heading into the arena. Built on our handmade wood-and-fiberglass saddle tree, manufactured in-house by Hadlock & Fox, the Checkmate Cowgirl brings together distinctive design and Alamo Saddlery craftsmanship. Because blending in was never the plan.

7-Year Manufacturer’s Saddle Tree Warranty
Every Alamo Saddlery saddle comes with a 7-year depreciating manufacturer’s warranty covering qualifying manufacturing defects in the saddle tree.
This warranty applies to the saddle tree only. Leather components, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, and other saddle components are not covered.
Warranty coverage depreciates over the seven-year period. All claims are subject to inspection and the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

Place your saddle order with a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due upon completion, approximately 6–8 weeks later. Your saddle ships once the balance is paid in full. |
